Rebecca will share her writing journey over the past 45 years under the topic "Writing for the World"

She will discuss:

  • How does one prepare to write a story, for both children and adults?
  • What support is available for writers?

About Rebecca Fujibe Kool

Author Rebecca Kool Fujibe published her first book "Fly Catcher Boy" last year, a bi-lingual English/Japanese story for children based on real life characters. She spent six years teaching English in Nagoya where she met and married Takeshi Fujibe. They retired to Mexico for four years where she wrote the book. A strong believer in teaching children global awareness through languages and cultural study, Rebecca is now working on two more bi-lingual stories for young people.  She firmly believes that understanding, combined with knowledge, will make our youngsters better world citizens.
