Do you love cherry blossoms and traditional Japanese gardens? Would you like to share your love of Japanese culture with like-minded people through volunteering? If your answer is yes, we need your help at Mokuyokai's 27th Annual Cherry Blossoms Festival (Ohanami) at UBC Nitobe Garden and Asian Centre!

27th Annual Vancouver Mokuyokai Society Ohanami (Cherry Blossom Viewing)
Date: Saturday April 9, 2011
Event Time: 12(noon) to 7pm

Volunteer Orientation/Meeting: Saturday, March 19, 2011
Volunteer Hours:
All day 11am – 8pm (super volunteer)
Morning 11am – 2pm
Afternoon 2pm – 5pm
Evening 5pm – 8pm
Volunteer Duties
Morning - setup & signage; registration & information booth; matcha/bento/snack sales; origami; yukata-dressing; tea ceremony coordinator
Afternoon - registration & information booth; matcha/bento/snack sales; origami; yukata-dressing; tea ceremony coordinator
Evening - registration & information booth; matcha/bento/snack sales; setup/take down lanterns; take down/cleanup
