This family friendly event is open to all and each year, 1000s of people attend.

Location: Oppenheimer Park, 400 block Powell Street (Accessible by #4 or #7 buses direct)
Saturday, August 4th and Sunday, August 5th, 2012, 11:30am – 7:00pm

Vancouver Mokuyokai will have a booth there, so if you attend the Festival, please come by and say hi to our Board Members & volunteers!

*Volunteering*

Both the Powell Street Festival and Mokuyokai are looking for volunteers.

If you would like to volunteer at the Mokuyokai booth, please contact Mike via volunteer{at}mokuyokai.bc.ca (where {at} = @). Mokuyokai booth volunteers should be familiar with Mokuyokai, as the role involves answering questions about and promoting the Society.

If you would like to volunteer with the Powell Street Festival, please see http://www.powellstreetfestival.com/get-involved/volunteer/ for more details. Many different opporuntities are available but please contact them soon if you are interested.

Looking forward to seeing you at this great event!
