The Vancouver Mokuyokai Society is part of the Organizing Committee for SAKURA DAYS JAPAN FAIR on April 7th and 8th, 2012 at VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver.
This is the third time this event is being held and we are excited that this year will have more vendors and cultural performances.
At SAKURA DAYS JAPAN FAIR, you can enjoy Japanese cultural arts, products and demonstrations (shiatsu, accessories, jewellery, anime, tableware, photography, drinks, travel and transportation information), tea ceremony, sake tasting, garden tours, haiku writing, ikebana workshops and Japanese cultural performances! Japanese foods will be available for purchase (cash only): yakitori, onigiri, takoyaki (octopus fritter), oden, gyoza, gyu-don, ramen, Japanese-style hot dogs, matcha waffles, chocolates, Japanese sweets and much more! There is also unique eco-friendly Japanese cars and motorcycles on display. The Vancouver Mokuyokai Society will have a booth, so please stop by and say hi.
Cost per day: Adult $10, Child $6.50, Youth $8, Senior $8, Family $24 (2 adults, 2 kids under 19)
