Join Mokuyokai up "Nature's Staircase" for a tough workout and rewarding view! For those who haven't tried it, the Grouse Grind is one of Vancouver's most popular hikes and a Vancouver icon! Once at the top, we'll relax in the chalet and then take the gondola down.
This hike is very steep and only very fit hikers should participate.
When: Saturday, September 8th. 9am – 2:30pm (approximately)
Where: Grouse Grind
Meetup Location and time: Waterfront Station at 9am or Grouse Grind parking lot at 10am
Hike description:
Difficulty: *Difficult* as the trail is very steep
Time: 1.5 - 2 hours
Distance: 2.9km
Elevation Gain: 853 meters

Travel Arrangements:
We'll take the Seabus from Waterfront Station to Lonsdale Quay. From there, we'll take bus #236 to Grouse Mountain. You must pay for your own fare. Also, it costs $10 for the gondola down from the top of Grouse Mountain (free if you want to walk down).
