The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of the Government of Japan offers Research Student Scholarships to foreign students who wish to study at a post-graduate level at Japanese universities. Guidelines and application forms for the MEXT Research Student Scholarship are now available.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is May 17, 2013. Applicants who successfully pass the written application screening are required to undertake an interview and examination (English and Japanese language) to be held at the end of June to mid-July.
