Noh Meets Canada - a free lecture and demonstration on Sat, May 11th

Tsunao Yamai, a lead player of the Komparu School along with an ensemble, will present a talk and a short performance of the elegant and refined traditional art of noh theatre of Japan. The talk will explain the movements, the masks, and costumes of the noh world. This is a rare opportunity to learn first-hand from one of the most respected players and leaders of an ancient and profound form of theatrical expression.
